Match Notes
** Match Description ** Great match after windy days. Gus is one of the players that makes progress each time I face him. So, I’ll have him added to my list of practice partners. He was flexing muscles very well in the first set, he earned few remarkable points proving his high level intelligence once again. I found the sun bothering me the most. After all I was able to stay calm, get my rhythm, stay in control of the match and cruse through the second set. ** Playoffs ** I loved to be on the other end of playoff bracket; Not because I could have easier path to Final, because I could watch Gus vs Altman in a semifinal. That would have been the real deal to even pay to watch it. — It Didn’t Happen — ** Fall Season ** Another great season is about to come to an end, I have seen few players take the league very seriously, they practice hard, hold conversation about it, share on their social networks and do all they can practically to better compete. That’s admirable, I respect that. All that gives me motivation to also work on my weaknesses and lean toward becoming a better player. ** To New Players ** I was there in your place too, not even long ago (maybe less than a year). If you really love the sport, Keep playing on different players, have your practice partners, practice against a wall, invest your time and energy into this sport because if you do it right you will improve quick, maybe next year you will be where I am today. So, it’s feasible, keep up the hard work. ** Appreciation ** Thanks to Gus for flexibility on scheduling the match. Thanks to Altman for the tips and support. Thanks to players who valiantly stepped up to play (regardless the outcome) and took part in experiencing another amazing season in our region. ** Tourney ** you may have heard that next weekend I’ll be representing our Tennis Community in the National Championship. No idea who the opponents are, how it will go or what will be the outcome; however, I guarantee that I’ll do all I can to bring that trophy to California for the first time. It’s great to have Devin alongside, and I wish my friend Elbert could make it too. ***** Interesting fact that our admin will be the guy behind the scene organizing the national tournament and it's the very first time players from SFV have joined. It will be super if me or Devin win one or both of our divisions. Ambition is enthusiasm with a purpose and intelligence without ambition is like a bird without wings. so, an enthusiastic ambitious player is got what it takes like an eagle catching a fish. Justin Cc: Devin Turner, Elbert Basa

Partner Program players:
If you met up to hit around you can submit a 1st set 1-1 tie.
* If match is tied at 1 set a piece, players can play a 10-pt. tie-breaker to determine the winner.
* If a tie-breaker is played, a 7-6 score should be entered for the winner of the set.
* If players are limited on court time, it's best to play the 10-game pro set.
* Matches ending in a tie should still be reported even though W/L records don't get updated. The league can update the result when the
* Retired Flag: A retired player starts the match, but can't finish due to various reasons. A Win and a Loss is given in this situation.
* If a player doesn't show up, please report it here. We have a 3-strike policy for constant offenders.
* If a player cancels a match within 4 hrs of the match, please report it here.
* Players can play and report 1 rematch against a player still in their skill level.
* Matches with a score of 6-1, 6-2 or less will be flagged by the administrator. If you get 3 flags in a season, you are probably in the wrong
division and most likely will be moved to a different level during the season.
Ultimate goal is to have fun close matches
